1. Maintenance Cycle (By Operating Hours)

  • Air Filter: Every 50 operating hours
  • Battery: Every 50 operating hours
  • Belt: Every 100 operating hours
  • Radiator: Every 200 operating hours
  • Lubricating Oil System: Every 200 operating hours
  • Diesel Filter: Every 200 operating hours (Replace with new one, fill with fresh diesel before reinstallation)
  • Charging Alternator & Starting Motor: Every 600 operating hours
  • Control Panel: Every 6 months (Clean dust with compressed air, tighten terminals; treat and retighten rusted/overheated connectors)

2. Regular Inspections

  • Daily Inspection: Check exterior, battery electrolyte leakage; record battery voltage and jacket water temperature; ensure heaters (jacket water, battery charger, dehumidification) work normally.
  • Monthly Inspection: Conduct mains-generator transfer test, startup test and on-load test.
  • Quarterly Inspection: Run at over 70% load for 1 hour to burn residual mixture in cylinders.
  • Annual Inspection: Include all monthly/quarterly items plus comprehensive maintenance.

3. Mandatory Replacement Items

  • Engine Oil: Replace once a year
  • Filters (Diesel, Oil, Air, Water): Replace every 500 hours (frequent-use units) or once a year (standby units)
  • Antifreeze Coolant: Replace once a year
